I feel like each episode has gotten better than the previous one.

I stopped watching this after one episode but keep on reading this thread because the reactions are hilarious. Not really overly concerned about spoilers, honestly.

The writing in this show is abysmal. Also was in season 1. This season is also severely lacking in the stronger sense of mystery and episodic structure the first season had. Still, I'm enjoying it to a degree. It's still fun in a trashy way.

How many characters are going to be hamfisted remarks about e-cigarettes by the end of this season? My vote is six.

At least Episode 3 seemed like it was made by human beings and had some life to it. I'll keep watching because this is, weirdly, kind of my genre (crime), and I want to see how this all turns out, in the meta sense.

Also, Vince Vaughn is a terrible actor. As punishment, he should give me that house.

That's only because the house is a mirror of his unclean soul. Once he leaves everything will fix itself.

also, you guys, it seems like Woodrugh really does have a case of the gay.

the homophobia, the interest in the male prostitutes (who say they can do women with the right motivation and blue pills), chugging beer with his war buddy and their vague conversation that could maybe be about PTSD or maybe about reparative therapy all at an approved male-centric bonding activity meant to facilitate healthy heterosexual male relationships in men who have difficulty with such things, a description of Iraq that sounds kinda like ol' Brokeback.

guys, this is all textbook closet behavior

which is fine with me.

Right. I guess you missed me giving props to Oregoropa on page 21 for calling that. The CHP dude definitely had an intimate moment with his war buddy that he didn't wish to discuss any further. Oregoropa mentioned the CHP dude needing Viagra to get it up for his lady and not wanting to stick around afterward. I initially wasn't sure if that was the case, but episode 3 confirmed it.

I guess I did, sorry. I didn't want to read this thread before I saw the episode because spoilers and just threw a few thoughts in here at the end.
