Franklin can't be dead - Tara smashed him and ran away so quickly, without a big OH MY GOD, HE'S DEAD reveal, there's no way he's actually dead. he'll be back.

I'm glad Tara escaped (OR DID SHE?!), because that part of the storyline was making me awfully uncomfortable.

Yeah, Franklin ain't dead.

I'm glad at least a couple more people have commented. After this f'ng amazing episode, and the limited amount of responses, I was about to go all Lafayette on your asses and be like WTF HOOKAHS? WHERE YOU AT?

I hadn't been into the first few episodes - most of the characters annoyed me, but I think part of it was that I just wasn't paying close enough attention.

I did enjoy this week's (maybe because I actually gave it my full attention).

Maybe it's me, but I found the episode quite gory, and spent a majority of the time screwing up my face saying "Ewwwww'. :reject: That said, it was a good one.

Sookie and Tara's escape from the mansion?!? I haven't liked Tara that much since early in Season 1. That scene was awesome.

Ditto! It was great to see Tara finally do something proactive and escape.

Also, any episode that features Queen Sophie Anne is a winner for me, even though she got punked out by Eric and Russell. Love her character, scratching off hundreds of Lotto tickets. She steals every scene she's in.

I've never been a fan of Evan Rachel Wood, but I do find her enjoyable as Queen Anne. She completely cracks me up.

After watching the preview for the second half of the season, I'm really looking forward what happens next. This season by far outshines last season for me.

Oh, I suffer from the same problem. I do watch live, but I'm usually doing other things as well so I always have to rewatch it on Monday.

Since I'm downloading and watching on Monday or Tuesday, I watch it on my laptop, and I'm not a big fan of watching stuff on the laptop.

(but it's a better alternative than waiting a year for the DVDs!)

Having never seen 400 Blows
a few weeks back when I could not sleep, I watched it on youtube, in 10 minutes segments on a 15 inch laptop.

I got to believe I robbed myself, of what should have been truly magnificent cinema experience.

I caught up today, I'm never settled down for watching TV on Sunday nights so I just watch on Demand sometime during the week.

Another action packed ep. Especially the first 10 minutes or so with the end of the big escape and all.

Killing off a pretty major character in the first minute.

YOU WOULDN'T KNOW LOVE IF IT KICKED YOU IN THE FANGS!

I was very happy to see Lorena die.

Sookie's dream! Crazy, campy frolicking magic land.

Does anyone else love the little Bill/Sookie theme? It's just that seven note melody (or motif, if you will) that they play whenever something romantic or important happens with Bill and Sookie. I'd hum it for you guys so you know exactly what I'm talking about, but you wouldn't be able to hear me through the computer. :(

Last night's episode was awesome. I never pay attention during my first viewing, but the first 10 minutes when I watched today caught my attention. I was not expecting any of that to happen. I loved all of the Vampire happenings, and it was good to see Tara take charge once again.

Sam's story remains a disappointment to me. I just don't understand how Joe Lee continues to have such a hold over Melinda. The man is vile and weak, and it was good to see someone call him on it.

I was happy that Tommy left with Sam after he broke up the dog fighting ring, but how long will it last?

I want to know what Hadley told Eric. Not knowing is driving me mad. Whatever it is better be worth the suspense.

Could Sookie be a descendent of Queen Sophie Anne?

I'm looking forward to next week.

The past 2 weeks have been insane. The Sookie/Bill drama from last night was crazy! I can't wait to see what happens next. Also, the ending with the magister was a total shock. That shot was really well done! I want to know what's up with Sookie not having a blood type. There has to be something there. As for the the Sophie Ann story, I thought the thing Hadley told Eric was
that she was Sookie's cousin
.

Also, So, So, SOOOO glad Lorena is dead. I hated that crazy bitch.

Unfortunately, I accidentally got spoiled somewhere on the internets so I know what Hadley told Eric and Sookie's whole situation. Oh, well.

I like suspense, so I don't want to read any spoilers, thanks for using the tags everyone,.

Anyway, this week was crazier than ever, so much fun, and so much blood.

Just got caught up with the latest 2 episodes. Wow this show just keeps getting better! Would be nice to see Franklin return with all of his craziness. Never saw it coming with the Magister! Excited to see what is in store for us next. Going to be quite interesting with Bill and Sookie after what he did to her.

Oh and I have read all of the books but hell if I remember what it is that Hadley told Eric lol.

I just saw the last 2 episodes yesterday and I have to agree with all these comments:

This season by far outshines last season for me.

Wow this show just keeps getting better!

Yes. After a subpar 2nd season, I am *really* enjoying this season. Even the Sam and his family storyline isn't really bothering me too much; I think it's pretty interesting.

My friend and I love Franklin; he totally cracks us up. Everyone in this thread seems to think he's not dead, but I don't know -- after all people, Tara did have a lot of his BRAINS in her hair!

:yippie: I couldn't agree more!!!!!!

Yeah, the last 10 minutes or so of this episode were super intense. The whole fight sequence at Sookie's house. We could have maybe done without the total softcore porn between Bill and Sookie at the very end, but it was pretty damn great when

Eric killed Talbot.

Also,

"Is it like a church or cult or somethin? Cuz I done that, and they washed my brain."

Loved that fight scene between Sookie and Debbie! For me that was one of the best parts.

Eric is definitely the man! Show keeps going at the rate it is by the time the season finale comes around it's giong to blow us away

This week's episode was insane! I loved it. The beginning was hilarious. "Sook? Say something... you brain damaged?!" I loved the fight sequence and seeing Sookie kick Debbie's ass. I hate that bitch. I was hoping she'd kill her. I totally did not see that Eric thing coming, but I loved it. Also, I'm really interested in hearing what this Lafayette storyline is. I don't think it's nothing if they brought someone as well-known as Alfre Woodard to play his mom. I've never read the books, but one of my best friends has, and she said his character dies at the end of the first or second one (can't remember which she said), so anything they do with him at this point is their choice. I'm glad they didn't kill him off though. I love him. I liked seeing Rene back too, even if it was in a nightmare. I loved his character until I found out he was a serial killer. This week was also awesome for eye candy: Jason in a gray wifebeater:drool:, Eric almost naked:drool:, and Jesus just looking good.

Another enjoyable episode in the can. They've done a good job keeping my interest this season. The Eric thing was a surprise, and it completely saved Bill's ass. If they continue down this path, bets on for who cops it next week.

This episode was incredible.

"I hate her". I love Hoyt.
Russell carries Talbot's "remains" in an urn and talks to him, so awesome.
I can't believe Nan called Eric a "whiny little bitch" that vamp has balls.
I will really miss that crazy mf'er Franklin.
Russell holding a spine while ranting about humans. Win.

Oh and don't forget Sam going crazy! Was nice to see that there is a whole other side to one of the calmest characters on there.

Russell and his rant stole the show tonight
