Hey I love both movies, but while I was walking out of the theater after Fight Club I wasn't sure if I was supposed to hit the dude in front of me, kiss the guy in front of me, or a combination of the two...

That movie was hella gay.

Fight Club rocked. I think it could be described as homo erotic, but I don't think it's "gay" per se.

I always liked Iron Eagle better than Top Gun. The plane scenes were more abundent, and Jason Gedrick made me believe that I could grow up to steal an Air Force jet, fly over some nondescript Mid Eastern country, and light it up. Tom Cruise never gave me the feeling that I could ever get either Kelly McGillis or Val Kilmner.

You know, in hindsight, Top Gun really really sucked.

So to answer the query, it's a gay movie sold to straight people under the guise of American Military Supremacy. lol, beach volleyball.

And no, I won't take it back. I kept envisioning scenes and realizing they were all so friggin' bad:

-You've Lost that Lovin Feeling (Not in Cocktail, by the way. Cocktail is a GOOD movie.) complete with mic toss. Awful.
-Goose's and Meg Ryan on the piano. Awful.
-Goose's death. Awful.
-Tom Cruise staring in the mirror after Goose dies. Awful.
-Iceman's friend. Ugh.
-Tom Skerrit revealing Tom Cruises "destiny/history". Awful.
-Buzzing the tower and the subsequent cheewing out. Awful.
-Kelly McGillis. Good.
-Kelly McGillis dressing as a man? Still good, but she looks better as a woman.

I think they're gay, but they don't know it. Except Goose, who I think is straight; and Iceman's partner, he knows he's gay. Iceman might know it too, but probably not. Maverick is probably bisexual.
