According to TMZ, Conan is out and Leno is back in at The Tonight Show. I love Conan. I'm very sad to hear this.

Remember all the people saying Letterman's flings would ruin him? How times change.

Supposedly Conan is trying to get Letterman to be one of his guests during his last week, which would probably be the greatest thing ever.

I think Jay has completely gone to the Dark Side.

This should mean that Conan gets that $35 or $40 million penalty payment, right?

I'm much more offended by Leno's awful attempts at comedy than his fucking over Conan. The fucking over of Conan is bad, but it's a one time thing. Leno's been fucking comedy over for decades.

What will happen to "Last Call with Carson Daly" show? Not that a lot care but i was curious...

I looked on wikipedia Last Call with Carson Daly - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia an found this:

Quote:
2010

On January 8, 2010, it was reported by multiple media outlets that The Jay Leno Show was moving to 11:35 p.m., The Tonight Show to 12:05 a.m., Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to 1:05, and, as a result, Last Call would no longer have its time slot. NBC confirmed the move, along with the possible end of Last Call. NBC has repeatedly emphasized that its focus is retaining the lineup of Leno, Tonight and Fallon. NBC chairman Jeff Gaspin told ABC News he expected Daly to stay with the network "in some fashion", but did not elaborate. In the event that Tonight host Conan O'Brien follows through on his threats and refuses to host a 12:05 a.m. show, Leno would return to host Tonight and as a result, Fallon and Daly's time slots would be unchanged.

On January 9, after the lineup changes were first rumored in the press, Daly made an unannounced stop on Jimmy Kimmel Live, appearing from the crowd during an audience Q&A session with Kimmel. Daly jokingly asked, "What will happen to my show?" Referencing the contestant elimination process on the show Survivor, Kimmel responded, "As long as you have your immunity idol, I think you're safe." Daly then asked, "Can I have your show?" Kimmel responded, "No."

I'm being dead serious: I had no idea Carson Daly had a show or that there was even any show after Fallon's.

Ok hold on. Last night I read somewhere that Leno was, in an apparent move to save face I assume, saying that he too would leave NBC if Conan was screwed over. I didn't research this TOO much further, so I don't know if that was true. But if it was, he's officially the world's biggest asshole now. We all had our suspicions, but now it is fact.

If Leno goes back to doing the Tonight Show he is going to be looked at as the biggest asshole in show business. I almost hope he does.

It's now believed that Conan's last show will be next Friday and he's going to get on some big guests. The feature attraction will be Howard Stern, who HATES Leno.

Some of Conan's monologue tonight. He's definitely pushing it now as he has nothing to lose -

“Hi, I’m Conan O’Brien, NBC’s “Employee of the Month.’”

“There’s a rumor that NBC is so upset with me, they want to keep me off the air for three years. My response to that is, if NBC doesn’t want people to see me, just leave me on NBC.”

“Time sure does fly. Do you realize that a baby born on the day we did our first “Tonight Show” is now a slightly larger baby?”

“This is absolutely true—I received a letter from the adult film company ‘Pink Visual’ offering me a role in one of their porno movies. In the movie I’d be having sex with a beautiful woman and just as we’re about to climax I get replaced by Jay Leno.”

“No matter what happens, it’s been a real honor to sit in the same chair as Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, and Jay Leno.”
