The only reason I recognized him was because I'd seen some promos for The Dead Zone, which he starred (stars?, is it still on) in.

Seeing him as the beefed-up douchebag in Edward Scissorhands was strangely off-putting. I mean, I am Brian in The Breakfast Club in real life... or fit closest to that Hughesian stereotype. He's like the Carl Jung of high school comedies.
