Yes, but it's seriously boring too.
Apocalypto was Mel's redemption as a director though. That film is so damn good.

But ain't a comforting thought to think of Batman kicking Gibson's ass?

Oh, was that what the gist of it was? That's different, then. I approve!

Well, Bale gets the last word on that thing, so I let my mind wanders.

I wouldn't mind if "We're fucking done, professionally" started popping up in reference to Mel.

Look, Mel might be an abusive jerk, but if you ever found yourself, with your pants around your ankles, sitting on a shitter rigged with a bomb, is there anyone else you'd rather have by your side?

Cut the man some slack.

Apocalypto was awful. That opening scene (with the hunters in the jungle laughing it up) pissed me off to no end. It was, in my opinion, as bad as 10,000 BC - only with more pretension.

I don't know how any of you can be shocked about these Gibson audio clips. He beat the hell out of Jesus, for Christ sake, and that was on VIDEO.

How long before someone superimposes video from Passion of the Christ with Mel's rage tapes? If I had any technical know how, I'd do it myself.

Well, that's nice for her. Doesn't mean he can't have started with the abusive shit later.

I swear that dude is a living comic genius. God, I love him. The whole interview was hilarious.

On a serious note though, I feel bad for all parties involved, and I hope for Gibson that he gets some serious help this time, he's a talented artist, and it would be a damn shame if his career ended with this foul taste in everyone's mouth.

Also, I feel really bad for Jodie Foster because her upcoming movie will probably be buried now... unless the studio wants to cash in on Gibson playing on unstable character in it, but that would just be oh so tasteless.

Oh, that's true, I forgot about this. I love Jodie Foster and it looks like a good film. I'll definitely watch it but it's a shame you're probably right, the film will be kinda of blacklashed even with good reviews.
