I'm sadly not familiar with his film work, either, but I've seen him on TV and in interviews and stuff. He always seemed like a really sweet, cool guy.

Far too young indeed. Such a shame to hear this news-my god, it's been a crappy year for this sort of thing. Way too many good people gone. Rest in peace, Michael.

Sad news.

Although it's a crap movie, his casting as the Kingpin in Daredevil was pretty spot on and he did the best he could with an awful screenplay.

As he so often did:

See Spot Run - YouTube

Supposed to start at 5:58. No idea why that feature stopped working for me.

Edit: Ah they got the whole movie under another name. Truly, truly a horrible movie, but God, I loved every moment he was in it. 50:48 is a great one:

Great kids movies are usually horrible movies. I actually have seen that movie about 15 times because it made me laugh so much when it first came out and because I had pretty much unlimited access to PPV at the time.

Yep had a good few laughs with the kids over that one.

I also have a weak spot for kids movies with tearjerker moments. I try to stay dry-eyed but usually mist up a lil bit.
