omg, I just saw this and loved it. The soundtrack is even better, even if you can't find the movie get the soundtrack.

I saw this movie thru Netflix. Glen ROCKS!! I Loved this movie, it was so good and fun to watch especially seeing the sights and sounds of Dublin! The music was great, I should think about getting the soundtrack I am really beginning to enjoy these kinds of films more and more. I highly recommend this one.

Gosh, I completely agree with you, U2Fanatic4ever! I love this film - it is just utterly gorgeous! Saw it twice last year during the Melbourne Film Festival and it's limited release...

And how amazing are Glen and Marketa??? If you like the soundtrack, you should also check out The Swell Season. It has songs from Once on it, as well as others.

Really really hope they win the Oscar!!

I finally saw it over the weekend, it is a real gem of a movie. I think I have to get the soundtrack.

Is Damien Rice in it? I didn't notice and it's gone from my On Demand now so I can't go back and check.

No, Damien Rice isn't in it (unfortunately)!!

However, the credits at the end of the movie did thank him. I have no idea what is input was though...?

Glad you enjoyed it!!

Highly recommend the Swell Season, like U2Fanatic suggested above! I Glen and The Frames and anything remotely similar to this style and music.

I was so thrilled about the Oscar and the soundtrack to Once. I think that is a dvd movie I'd like to have in my collection actually! If you're a fan and haven't yet seen it or listened to the soundtrack or the Swell Season, do so now!!

I can't agree with you more, Carek1230.

Swell Season came with the special edition of the DVD I bought.
