Source?

I've seen that question being asked in other places, and have only seen responses that this is a hoax/false rumor, and that there was a similar rumor about some other actor dying at the same location in the past.

There are no big news sources reporting this at the moment so I hope its a hoax.

Wow. I'm rarely affected by celebrity deaths, but I can't even watch the clips of him performing as a child. The first line of the song "Ben," and I lost it. :( Such a strange and tragic life...

VP.:hug: I wouldn't be able to watch that either, its a sad enoguh song as it is.

For the second time in the past 30 minutes or so, Larry King has mentioned that he was supposed to testify at the 2005 trial, that while dining at a restaurant, he overheard people involved with the case at another table talking about "extorting" Jackson...but that the judge deemed it hearsay, so it wasn't allowed.

In his own words. He summed the tragedy of his life pretty well here. It's one of my fav. lesser known MJ songs.

Strangers In Moscow
Written and composed by Michael Jackson
Lyrics:
I was wandering in the rain
Mask of life, feelin' insane
Swift and sudden fall from grace
Sunny days seem far away
Kremlin's shadow belittlin' me
Stalin's tomb won't let me be
On and on and on it came
Wish the rain would just let me be

How does it feel
(How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

Here abandoned in my fame
Armageddon of the brain
KGB was doggin' me
Take my name and just let me be
Then a begger boy called my name
Happy days will drown the pain
On and on and on it came
In the rain, and again, and again
Take my name and just let me be

How does it feel
(How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
(How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

How does it feel
(How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
(How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

Like a stranger in Moscow
(Lord have mercy)
Like a stranger in Moscow
(Lord have mercy)
We're talkin' danger
We're talkin' danger baby
Like a stranger in Moscow
We're talkin' danger
We're talkin' danger baby
Like a stranger in Moscow
I'm livin' lonely
I'm livin' lonely, baby
A stranger in Moscow

KGB Interrogatory (Russian to English translation):
'Why have you come from the West? Confess!
To steal the great achievements of the people, the accomplishments of the workers...'

This Time Around

This time around I'll never get bit
Though you really wanna fix me
This time around you're making me sick
Though you really wanna get me
Somebody's out
Somebody's out to get me
They really wanna fix me, hit me
But this time around I'm taking no shit
Though you really wanna get me
You really wanna get me

(He really thought he really had)
Had a hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
Control of me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really could control me

This time around I'll never get bit
Though you really wanna get me
(You really wanna get me)
This time around I'm taking no shit
Though you really wanna fix me
Somebody's out
Somebody's out to use me
They really want to use me
And they falsely accuse me
This time around
They'll take it like spit
'Cause you really can't control me

(He really thought he really had)
Had a hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
A hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
Had a hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
A hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me

(Rap: The Notorious BIG)
Listen, I've got problems of my own
Flashin' cameras, taps on my phone
Even in my home I ain't safe as I should be
Things always missin'
Maybe it could be my friends
They ain't friends if they're robbin' me
Stoppin' me from makin' a profit, see
Apology shallow like the ocean
I guess I'll resort to gun totin'
If I was dead broke and smokin'
I'd probably be by my lonesome
I'm a killer nigga I ain't jokin'
Endo smoke got me choked and I'm hopin'
The fool comes slippin'
So I could blow'em open
This time around
I changed up my flow
Got rid of the rocks
Got Pitts by the door
I've raised other peoples to watch my back
Stay away from strangers
So I won't slack
And I know my nigga Mike like that
Baby

This time around yeah...
(He really thought he really had)
Control of me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
A hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
Had a hold on me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of me
(He really thought he really had)
Control of me
(He really thought he really had)
They thought they really had control of m

I was JUST going to post that this is one of his best ever songs that is much lesser known than most of his other hits. It's clearly autobiographical. I love it.

His lasting image is going to be of the freaky, white variety. So why not?

Head is all over the place right now

i'll believe anything

rumours harrison ford is a gonna too - but thats not important

I have preserved him as the sweet, sparkly, black man with killer dance moves and one glove in my own mind.

(Or at least I'm trying to.)

MadForIt, if the Harrison comment is based on the obviously fake link that was posted in the Goldblum thread, you clearly need a smack.

never was much of a fan of his music

I guess I liked Billie Jean

I found the phenomenon aspect interesting, the power and influence

and the twist and turns of his life - tragic

I never did love Bad or Dangerous like Thriller. My MJ love didn't last that long, pretty much through the few years after Thriller, and then I was done.

Rediscovered his hits as I got older and realized how great most of those hits are. Now I just have the two-disc Essential Michael Jackson, and it's got all I'll ever need: Jackson 5 and MJ's hits.

I just put on "Man In The Mirror" and I'm bawling my eyes out. I can't believe this is the first of many times I'll be listening to Michael Jackson without him here anymore.

When Thriller came out I was at that early teen point where I would fall head over heels massive unrealistic crush style for various girls in my grade (and the next two up  ). I used to imagine dancing with them to The Lady In My Life...still in my books one of the best slow jams of all time.

 VP
