I remember coming home from my Christmas holidays early in 1994 so I could go to the Canon Theater and see her one-woman stage performances of "Shakespeare for My Father".

She was really a great writer and performer.

That poor family has endured more sadness lately! This is indeed sad news, such a huge talent lost. I just saw a video on TV, a documentary about the Redgrave clan and heard about Lynn's illness. This news makes me very sad.

I was watching Joy Behar tonite and she had Joan Rivers as a guest. I was really touched by some of the heartwarming things they both had to say about Lynn, but especially things Joan said. She is usually so brash and vulgar, it was nice to hear something endearing coming from her. Apparently she and Lynn were good friends.
