I agree, it is very sad. I don't know enough girls that age to say how many really idolize Lindsay, Paris, Nicole etc. but I don't think it's nearly as many as we might think. I think there are too many good parents out there who encourage better role models and use those girls as cautionary tales-hopefully. I would if I was a parent. Obviously the media focuses on the bad and doesn't focus on the actresses who don't behave like that.

Those photos are sad and disturbing. A girl who seemingly "has it all" but really has so little when you strip the surface stuff away.
 
I doubt this latest trip to rehab is born out of a genuine desire to get well. It's such a typical celebrity "damage control" thing to do.
Her mother deserves a boot up her ass for the way she enables her daughter to self destruct. If it were my child, I'd do everything in my power to help them recover. Instead she plays it down in interviews and says Lindsay's just acting like any 20 year old would. I really wish that Lindsay, Paris, Nicole, Jessica and the like would just go away already. They're interchangeable and uninteresting.
 
Remember when Drew Barrymore was the young wild girl? She wasn't even half as reckless as Linday. Now she's a respectable, successful actress ... wonder if Lindsay can pull it together.

Nah, highly doubtful.

You know what is so sad about Hollywood these days? It's people who consider Paris, Nicole, Mischa, Lindsay role models for young kids. It's pretty sad. Except for Lindsay, these other people have no talent whatsoever. I always hear about how back in Old Hollywood that all this stuff used to be kept secret. Now, it's like these stupid asshole executives and higher ups thrive on this bullshit. Some of these PR people for these "actresses" can't even control their clients. The parents have no control.

Anyways, nobody wants to talk about the classy actresses anymore. Is it a requirement to be a fuck up in Hollywood?

I hope not to be spewing hatred about the girl but I guess my sympathy has waned quite a bit because of the stupid sorta things that has come out of her mouth that shows she just has no clue. I mean really, she's a child who thinks she's a big grownup. Do I think Dinah has a hand in that? Definetly. I don't know if she is so much an alchoholic as someone who has never been told "no" and is scared to say "no" herself. I wasn't an angel at her age either.

There is a big difference between Lindsay Lohan and Robert Downey Jr. Lindsay is a major bitch who goes around acting like she's the queen of Hollywood after only a handful of movies. Her interviews are painful to watch because she comes across as this arrogant, bitchy, spoiled brat. She's rude to the people interviewing her and acts like she's doing them a favor, when it's really the other way around.

RDJ has always come across as a gracious, hard-working actor, who unfortunately has a serious drug problem. But it never seemed to affect his work or turn him into an asshole. From all accounts, he was still a professional on every movie set and he never did interviews acting like he was god's gift to acting.

I agree with this and the other poster who commented that Lindsay is probably NOT an alcholic...just a spoiled rotten brat who thinks her shit don't stink and she is above the law. She is totally immature and has a lot to learn.....she thinks she can do all this and not have any price to pay....I think she is about to find out!:|

Just because you're sober doesn't mean you can't go out and have fun."

Heller also shot down claims that Svedka vodka pulled out of sponsoring the event -- saying they were never signed on to do the party in the first place and that he "would not allow a liquor sponsor."

That's disgusting.:| If you had told me 2 years ago I would be saying this, "Lindsay Lohan needs to spend some SERIOUS time with her dad after rehab", I would have thought you were crazy. But, damn, back away from your "mother":rolleyes: Linds.
 
Her mother literally lived around the corner from me when I was growing up. She was rumoured to be a model and was always sunning herself in the yard. All the guys would ride their bikes by to see her and alot of the girls wanted to look like her and be as tan as she was. She later on became a Rockette and alway wanted to be famous.

Now shes famous for something you wouldn't want to be famous for. :huh: :huh:
 
I just want to point out something on the subject of Robert Downey Jr being compared to Lohan which was mentioned in this thread..

You know, despite his struggles with drugs, he made good movies.

I can't say the same about Lohan.
