So much for the FYC season.

Should we ask to make this a sticky, or just start a new thread when we begin the voting process and try to sticky that one?

I think a good plan is to have our polls right before the Oscar broadcast.

I'd go for the latter if you want to push it through faster.

True, but is he getting recognized that way by the guilds or what-have-you? Hell, Brad Pitt was a supporting player in Jesse James, but he got thrown out as lead for God's sake.

But regardless, CONSIDER Franco for whatever he is. He's amazing. In Milk too. Love him.

His Globe nom was for Lead.

And I feel we can count any votes for an actor in whichever category they receive the most in.

Example: 6 votes for Kate Winslet in Lead for The Reader, 5 votes for Kate Winslet in Supporting for The Reader=11 votes for Lead.

That's only fair.

I'd say Philip Seymour Hoffman is a lead for Doubt, too.

So since one of you subscriber types are going to have to make the final balloting polls, I'm down with taking all the nomination PM's and adding them up.

If there's nothing else to take care of, should we start that nomination thread right now?
