I agree that the show has lost something without Troy/Pierce...Shirley never counted as an important character since she isn't funny or compelling, so it's like half the regular cast has left the building. It's just weird to have all of this extra Duncan/Chang material in particular when there isn't a solid reason to connect them to the other characters (especially Duncan since he was pretty much MIA from Season 2-4).

I did laugh my ass off at Annie being amazed that Hickey figured out that the janitors wanted their porn unblocked. So naive.

Man, just caught the lava episode. The last few minutes had me gently weeping. Really nice touch.

Also I strongly disagree about Shirley, sometimes she isn't handled the best but she can be an emotional character and very very funny. Plus, she and Jeff are possibly the show's greatest pairing, though they know to use that combo sparingly.

Shirley has always been my least favourite, although she has had her moments. Yvette Nicole Brown plays her really well.

Her best moment was the Xmas/Glee episode. The moment she gets converted by those school kids is so fucking funny.

It's a very well acted character but not a particularly well written one from a comedic standpoint. She is certainly the character given the least to do.

I'll answer my own question. It's not that funny anymore.

Think the last one I watched was Donald's departure.

NBC renewed Hannibal, so I'm not even mad.

Same with me. Not surprised it got cancelled. A shame, but the fourth season was awful and probably killed any passion I had for the show (along with Donald leaving).

Still, the first three season were fucking amazing.

I quite enjoyed season 5. It ended with a whimper but there were some quality episodes, even after Donald left.

I've only began watching Community recently, near the end of season 3, and I hear tell due to Dan Harmon not being with the show in season 4 that it gets kinda crap. Is there anything worth watching in season 4 or can I just skip straight to 5 with maybe the first and last episode of 4 to keep with continuity?
