Give him a chance. Don't go by his performance from when he was like 6. This story focus's on the McGee clan and their strife with Mickey Rourke's character Deez Nutz. Mid Way through SPOILERS one of the McGee brothers does something that changes Deez. He returns as The Gang - marries Diane Lane - and then fucks shit up in the way only Mickey Rourke can. I don't want to give too much away, but watch out for Old Man McGee.

Dude - I have said it before and I'll say it again - I do NOT like DaFoe in the role of TATA. I think he is too old and too skinny. I'll hold judgement until I see the final cut, and don't get me wrong - the man can act - I just don't see him in this role. Unless you're going to CGI it.

El-Mel has already adapted a novella from the original text, but it deviates slightly from the short story/diary. This film version should be a true representation of both the diary and source material.

I would like to propose that pfan be upgraded from THE AMENDMENT to THE ANSWER. He has been skoolin suckas in FYM and I think it a fitting appreciation. Should I be found to be too hasty in this proposal, I shall accept the ruling and withdraw. However, I think the lessons this player be dealin to the bitches is well worthy of my nomination.

I really prefer THE AMENDMENT, to be honest. Bottom line, for me, is that when he's done schooling some sucka, I can swoop in and say "You just got AMENDED motherfucker", which carries a lot more impact than "You just got ANSWERED motherfucker".

However, I will abide by whatever ruling the council makes.
