Best Fictional Character ever??

What, in your opinion, is the greatest fictional character ever created?

My vote is for George Costanza from seinfeld, followed closely by Eric Cartman from South Park.
Both characters are extremely selfish and downright hilarious.

In terms of serious characters- John Locke and Ben Linus from LOST are also amazing.
