Here's hoping it's better than the last cycle. I hope that was just a fluke.

I read a rumor that Tyra & Co were surprised and hurt by all the bad grumblings about Saleisha's win, and that she wouldn't be shown in the opening credits with the other winnings (a la Adrienne). I'm not sure how much I believe that, but we'll see!

Oh god, Tyra erasing Adrienne from Top Model history is infamous.

I believe there was a group shot from season 1 that was on one of the recent Top Model lookback shows, and that might have been the first time she's been seen or mentioned on that show in years.

Seriously. Adrienne had some unkind (and probably pretty spot-on) words about the so-called prizes the winner got, and Tyra sure knows how to hold a grudge. I'm surprised Adrienne even was allowed on the show in the second season, talking to the girls.

Adrianne has been my favorite winner, but Cycle 2 was the best by far, IMO. I haven't paid much attention since cycle 5 (?), whichever one Nicole won.

Yoanna is still one of my favorites, and definitely my favorite winner so far. I like Adrienne, though. I don't care that she's trashy and obnoxious. I still like her, and I loved her on the show, in all her mush-mouthed annoyingness. She was so funny.

I loved Yoanna. I still think she's the best "model" of the bunch. I liked almost every girl in cycle 2 and they didn't seem as bitch y as the girls in other seasons. I really wish Amanda, the legally blind contestant, would've won. I'm not remembering which cycle she was on, but she was so pretty and she took incredible photos.

She came in third the cycle where Eva won (Eva and YaYa were the top two).

Ok, it was Cycle 3, then. I was not a fan of YaYa for some reason. I don't even know why.

YaYa was beautiful, but so obnoxious.

"It's called RESPIETU" or whatever that word for respect was. She was so holier-than-thou.

I loved Nicole from that cycle, the redhead who was doomed by Tyra pronouncing her "forgettable."

What about the hardcore Christian girl, Robin, from Cycle 1? I couldn't stand her. She acted so self-righteous. Shannon was a Christian too in that cycle, and had principles but she was the exact opposite in terms of acting judgmental.

Oh, she was a bitch. And I agree about Shannon - I really loved her look.

Naima has probably been my favorite winner in terms of personality. She was just incredibly real and down-to-earth. I think Nicole (Cycle 5 winner Nicole, not the one from Cycle 3) was beautiful, but she seemed really cold. I wasn't a fan of her personality.

I liked Naima when I watched the show, but whenever I see pictures of her now I think, "Wow. She won a modeling competition? Really???"

Agreed about Nicole. My favorite from that cycle was Kim, who's gone on to do modelling and is now hosting things (a show? individual events? I'm not sure) on MTVU or whatever it's called.

I looooooathed Jayla from that cycle.
