Even Angelina was surprised at being nominated in a comedic role.

I read that the Hollywood Foreign Press likes to vote also on star power and The Tourist and Burlesque both have it despite bad reviews. I'm sure the Oscars will be different and even with 10 slots for best picture both of those stand no chance.

Burlesque probably got it because they needed something resembling a "musical" to throw in.

I'm a bit miffed by Community getting snubbed. I tried watching it last season and couldn't quite get into it; but then I decided to give it another chance and I really like it. The cast has great chemistry.

But the Tourist and Burlesque? WTF? Tourist is getting shit reviews. And Burlesque looks like Showgirls 2: Electic Boogaloo.

I believe failing to nominate Shutter Island and True Grit makes me question the Golden Globes entirely
