I'll take the cynical point of view, as I so often do when it comes to these things.

Speaking to impy's point, I think what Kanye did was staged, because the VMAs have become rather irrelevant. Yet what are we doing the day after? Talking about it, sharing Youtube clips, etc.

I just don't believe what happened last night was real. :shrug:

I thought that at first, but if you really pay attention to Beyonce and Taylor Swift's faces during the moment, it's pretty obvious was unplanned. Hell, he was reportedly escorted out of the venue. The Eminem/Bruno stunt was clearly not real, but I think this unfortunately was. If it was a joke, I think they would've admitted it by now. It didn't take long for Eminem to admit the Bruno thing was staged.

If they were aware of what was going to happen they could easily have had those facial reactions.

When you say "reportedly", who reported it? Where did the story originate from?

Why would they admit it was a joke if the whole point was to gain publicity and run with it? By admitting it was a joke the day after the event it defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

They admitted the Eminem/Bruno stunt was a joke the day after.:shrug: If they were acting Taylor Swift deserves an Oscar because she looked genuinely heartbroken. And most articles about the event have said Kanye was tossed after. He wasn't in the audience the rest of the night and in his "apology" he said he finished watching the show at home.

So, is it just me, or does Eminem seem a lot more chilled than he was at the height of his career nearly a decade ago?
