Is it right to risk human lives in earlier trials where animal testing would normally be done?

I do not think that it would be right, I think that it would prevent a significant number of drugs ever being put onto the market.

Do you draw a line for animal testing depending on the animal? is it alright to test on mice but not on dogs or primates?

I don't draw the line anywhere. I do not believe in testing on any animal.

Would you refuse treatment if that had been derived at some point from animal testing? Or protest against the development of new treatments that involves animal testing; vaccines, cancer treatments and AIDS drugs?

Also would you oppose testing on all animals; like pesticides on mosquitoes? or experiments that require the trusty old drosophila to be killed off to demonstrate basic genetics to students? Is this opposition limited to mammals?

Interesting question. I guess it would depend on the situation. I dont want to be a lab rat. I know we have to have antibiotics and such but I still don't believe in animal research. Some treatmeants I am sure I would refuse. At this point in my life, I try to stay as healthy as I can because I believe the entire medical profession is sham anyway run by corporations. My father spent the last six months of his life in a hospital and none of the Doctors could figure out what was wrong with him. Total cost: Around 500.000. An auotopsy(sp) determined he had asbestos cancer.
