I wasn't sure where to post this. Hope this is okay.

This Saturday is World Water day 2003.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, read on:

I've been asked to be interviewed on 740 AM "Heart of a Woman" this Friday at 2pm PST to discuss the plight of Sub-Saharan Africa with relation to their lack of access to safe water sources-on behalf of the African Well Fund.

Tune in if you have time! I hope I don't make a goober of myself

It's World Forest Day today.
I think the two things are connected.
Good on you for speaking out. thanx

Water, 2 billion people are dying for a lack of it.

For $1000. A well can be dug and save lives.

It empowers an entire village.

With a well all aspects of everyday life change.

Women walk an average of 10 miles for water for their families
It may not even be clean water.

We use 265 gallons a day in US

In Africa they use 49 gal.
