Deep I would agree with you except for one thing.....

Historically, you have done this to many of my threads and the mod team did something about it. If I posted much here anymore I might actually give a shite.

I guess I misread the tone of your reply the first time...I have split the two threads back apart. If I hadn't been willing to do it before I wouldn't have asked. I'm not aware of a history of deep doing this to your threads; threads that started out optimistic take damning turns all the time due to getting bumped with unsettling new info about some major player. Sorry about that.

I really don't know what this is about.

Threads get bumped all the time when the subject is in the news again.

I just did a search of Wolfowitz, because I remembered we had one before.

I have been thinking more about how I word things, when I post them.

It seems lately, you and I have been posting some similar opinions.

Even when people post different opinions, I don't take it personal.

These days, I am trying just to respond to the individual replies and not the person behind them.

That probably is a better way to do it than the "historical?" way.

These threads are really only good (imo) as stand alone conversations.

If we allow our replies to be driven by perceptions about the poster,
instead of the merit of the reply, this board will have very little good discussion.

I accept my previous style of replying has not always been the best.

Please call me on it if or when I do it
in a current thread.
