Congress 'made Wikipedia changes'

Online reference site Wikipedia blames US Congress staff for partisan changes to a number of political biographies.

Computers traced to Capitol Hill removed unpalatable facts from articles on senators, while other entries were "vandalised", the site said.

I find Wikipedia interesting with the broad ability to revise entries. Is collective truth the highest level we can achieve?

no. but i think collective memory is the most powerful weapon at one's disposal.

Well it appears selective truth is the highest level Congress can achieve (and selective memory the most powerful weapon at their disposal).

I wonder how Wikipedia decides when to make an entry a "neutrality disputed" one. I always enjoy reading the behind-the-scenes debates linked to those.
