What's your God like?

I've noticed the label "pharisee" has been tossed around here with near reckless abandon.

So do you disagree with the characterisation of Jerry Falwell et al as the new pharisees?

I started this thread as a purely non confrontational discussion about a person's God. I know I strayed and I apologize. But we can have a whole discussion about the pharisees in another thread.

I see God as someone who has many faces all at once, and absolute love for all of us here. I believe he has bestowed upon us the possibility of approaching him from different paths and seeing him in different people every day. I think people are pieces of a puzzle, each of us a tiny piece of God and when you put us all together, you get the Supreme being.

I don't believe in a single truth.

Falwell is an idiot. The use of the term Pharisee is often a replacement for "I don't agree with what he preaches".
