I got all the links to info on each religion sent along, too. Check them out! I was surprised about my top two (I'm Presbyterian):

I followed it up- i think its cos their stated beliefs are wide due to the lack of hierachy, hence all the 'grey area bits' come up quaker so to speak hehe

I'm honestly not sure about mine. I might go back and do the test again and see if I'm still supposed to be a Muslim.

I really, really want to know why I'm the only person here who ended up with that faith at the top of the list.

Anyway, I'm curious if others who had Catholicism at the bottom of their list would consider themselves "raised catholic". I'm not trying to say anything about Catholicism, just looking at a pattern in this little "quiz". Dr. Teeth, martha, Christiana, travu2, clarityat3am...any of you willing to mention what religion you were "raised in"?

I was raised Catholic and despised every moment of it...but don't tell my family that!

Frankly, I don't remember. You know, at this moment in my life I'm reorganizing my thoughts. Not that I'm thinking of leaving. But I had problems with some people. Attitudes, people who want to use their own criteria and judge you, all that crap. Sounds very superficial, but I'm talking about serious stuff. So I was thoroughly disappointed with everything...

Thus, I haven't been on the meetings regularly and all that. My attitude about certain things has changed, hopefully for the better. I am now in the process of renewing my faith. I have questioned all the beliefs I held dearly through all my life, and so far, everything has proved to be truthful. So, I think I'm on the right track.

I still am stuck with little details, but hope to get those ironed out soon.

Take care!

Kerc, don't stop going to the meetings!!! If it's a serious issue then you need to go to an elder right away!!! I'm sure whoever said whatever loves you and doesn't want you to go away!!! Like, scatteroflight said, always consult the bible on any issue. I really like the Watchtower library on disk...cuz i find stuff really fast on it.

Scatteroflight...i think you got muslim cuz of one of the first set of questions...maybe the question about sin being part of God's design???

This will really blow both of your minds...
in the latest Watchtower...they have a picture of the inside of U2's Achtung Baby cd cover!!!! NO KIDDING...it's on page 25 of the October 15, 2001 Watchtower magazine!!! You guys probably won't believe me until you see it for yourself

Oh, and speaking of written exams...I got about 91% right on my written review for the Theocratic Ministry School cuz i didn't study well enough for it...as usual

I'm so glad you guys posted.

kerc, I really hope things work out for you--I'll think + pray about/for you. I know what you mean about how people and their attitudes can sometimes get in the way of what really matters, which is our relationship with Jehovah. I guess you just have to try and look past that stuff. And going to the meetings regularly is a great way of holding onto that lifeline. Plus daily Bible reading, something I majorly need to work on. And prayer, of course (also something I need to do more of).

Take care

NO, it isn't a bad example...it's a picture of stuff that can distract us from focusing on the Kingdom...it's not wicked...stuff like fancy cars, fancy food, television, our favorite rock band coming to town

and computers/internet. It's a really neat article about keeping the eye simple.

Now, how does something like that happen? I'm way past rebelling against my parents, believe me.
