Someone who said in a nutshell, that Muslim countries have no human rights had me calling him an ignorant bigot.

I called him a shit and threw a book at him. I felt bad about it immediately afterwards, though, it was my first edition of Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban.

I'm not one to get confrontational, but the last time my very conservative father-in-law was here visiting, my husband referred to our President as "Beelzebush" during a heated discussion.

The last thing I said to someone was, if you don't like it, move to Canada.

Permanent residency costs around $4000, including lawyer fees, and only works if you're in love with/married to a Canadian citizen or are a qualified "skilled worker" under certain underfilled occupations. I already investigated.

The fact remains that you're stuck with all the liberals. Most of them can't move to Canada.

I can't recall, but I saw so many W 04 stickers on cars in South Carolina (don't those people realize the election is over? ) that I wanted to deface them all

the BEACH PATROL truck even had one on it

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place w/ lovely people. I should have worn my Kerry button

Funny up here in the great NW i keep seeing people with John Kerry stickers on their cars and all I can think is, " don't you want to take that losers name off your car."

I hate bumper stickers period. I don't care what they say, political or otherwise.

Believe it or not, not all liberals want to move to Canada. Hell, I'm a liberal in a conservative bastion, Birmingham, Alabama, and I don't even want to move to a more liberal part of the country. This is in large part for health reasons, I need a warm climate. The Canadian climate would kill me in three years. Honestly. There's no way I could survive in such a cold climate. Politics isn't everything. You're fd if you don't have your health.

Oh now I've even gone further off my rocker and written a religious tirade.

I just hope people realize that when I write like that, I really mean to criticize the "ideas," not the "people." I can't say that I'm perfect and nor can I say I have all the answers. I just hope that somewhere, somehow it's just an effective "counterpoint" for a debate.
