Wear Yellow!!!

I saw the bit about Bono wearing one of the Lance Armstrong yellow bracelets so I went to Lance's site and checked it all out to see what the buzz was about. The bracelets go towards a goal of rasing 5 million dollars for cancer research, advocacy and education. My dad has been diagnosed with cancer in the last year and I wanted to do something small to help him and everybody else who is suffering from/ has suffered from/ or cares about somebody who has gone through cancer so, I had to buy a box!

You can buy a box of 10 of them for just 10 dollars plus it was just over 3 dollars shipping for me. They are just a yellow band that has "Live Strong" imprinted into them. They are made of silicone so they should should wear well and be comfortable for everybody.

I encourage anybody who can afford to do this to go for it. Here's the site if anybody is interested.

yep they are, Nike stores. You can buy them one at a time there...but the page for that site wouldn't load because they are out of stock right now. You can also buy them in the stores themselves. I just don't have one near me.

For the reason why
Maybe people should think about donating to a cancer foundation without buying in a NIKE shop.

It is hard for me to ignore the fact that NIKE is producing their clothes in sweatshops.

yeah I agree with the Nike thing Rono. Hence why I spent the extra 12 bucks and bought from Lance's site directly. I got 9 more bracelets that I can give out to friends too!
