Chavez accused of anti-Semitic remarks

"Some minorities, descendants of the same ones who crucified Christ ... took all the world's wealth for themselves," Chavez said in the Dec. 24 speech.

Wasn't Bush enough of an enemy for Chavez? Why take on the Jews?

I just read that and was debating if I should post it. Chavez is making alot of enemies. I hope he dosent cry when someone kicks his A-- for it. Chavez, and the Iranian president would look good in bed with each other.

The problem is, Chavez's butt was kicked out once already, (with a little help from our friends, I think) but the Venezuelan people voted him right back in. They may care less about his anti-semetic remarks in the way that the American people are willing to excuse various Bush abuses of power or anything they see as wrong. Who the frig cares? People have a short attention span. And is Venezuela's Jewsish community a) large enough to vote him out, or b) willing to place the next election on this one remark? Just thinking cynically here.

Unless the CIA begins (another) covert operation and has this guy assassinated, he'll be hard to stop.
