Money's tight, and Wal-Mart's cheapest, so that's where we shop for food. I don't feel especially bad about it, it's just a reality...if we had money to throw into the coffers of our choosing, we probably wouldn't choose Wal-mart's, but we don't.

And you may say that if everyone stops shopping there, there will be more local shops/competition/lower prices, but that ideal doesn't help much when it comes to paying this month's rent.

I think that's why a lot of people shop there...

I haven't bought anything at Wal-mart in at least a year, for ethical reasons and also because I like Target much better.
