i'm not one to wish bad health on people, but i will say in my experience, once you have a mini-stroke, you're more (moore?) likely to have a full-on stroke. and given his aversion to exercise and salads...

Indeed! If Roy won, I was thinking I wouldn’t visit for as long as he was senetor. Not that it matters to no one if I visit Alabama or not but it’s the principle. But I am so happy that the people made the right choice. If I decide to make a trip there one day, I’ll send you a few lines for recommendations of places to see

that's where i lived (and he's from) actually. it is cool.

that being said i'm more than happy to eat my words and say how great it is that jones won. i've hated moore since i moved there and attended a protest when he blocked marriage licenses from being issued, after the state allowed marriage for all. the big baby.

I remember first hearing about Moore on some website I used to frequent about ten plus years ago. A guy used to write little essays ranting against him and all the bullshit he spouted and tried to pull over the years.

i hate how close it was (~10k votes, geez) but hey, he won. that's really what matters.

I am pleasantly surprised. Roy Moore is a horrible human being. The fact that he lost to a man who prosecuted the KKK largely on the backs of black voters makes it even sweeter. I hope this inspires dems to run in traditional red states/districts.
