and the irony is that loser Giuliani did his best to exploit the death of 3,000 innocent people he was supposed to protect and could barely limp to a fifth place finish in a field that had only one real adult in it (POW McCain).

loser.

oh, did i mention he's the Convention's keynote speaker? get ready, kids, it will be 2004 all over again! it will be a speech like we saw on 9-11 where we'll be warned that we'll be attacked again like we were on 9-11 and if we don't vote Republican, we'll die like we did on 9-11.

I think Giuliani should do the speech in drag, and the Project Runway contestants should design the outfit

It was awesome. I don't remember the Terri quote, but my favorite was Tim Gunn "it looks like a pterodactyl in a gay Jurassic Park"

I'm going to marry Tim Gunn, after I divorce Bruce and Anderson Cooper

it was from last week, and here it is, in all it's beauty:

Quote:
“I don’t know what he’s packin’, balls or va-jay-jay, but he needs to work that out cuz I ain’t got no babies, ain’t nobody suckin’ on my titties. So please, MAN UP.”

TIME Magazine is calling McCain out now:

Quote:
The McCain campaign's constant invocation of the candidate's POW past is weird bordering on irrational: yesterday, Nicolle Wallace used it as evidence that McCain didn't "cheat" at Saddleback. By a VERY generous interpretation, she could have meant that POWs don't cheat. Or that once you've been a POW, you've been through so much you're above cheating. Or maybe you can't accuse a POW of cheating unless you're a POW.

Today, spokesman Brian Rogers took the same tack against the "housing crisis" they currently face: "This is a guy who lived in one house for five and a half years -- in prison." So is he arguing that we shouldn't begrudge McCain his multiple house because he once lived in an awful prison? Is he saying POWs deserve multiple houses (and you thought Obama was pro-nanny-state!)? Or maybe he's saying that McCain's several houses are really just prisons... of the soul. Man is entombed by his possessions, it's true.

It's a head-spinning non sequitur, designed to distract us from something mildly troubling with the assertion of something impressive.
And then stuff like this, you can't even pen if you tried:

Quote:
McCain, who huddled with advisors at his desert compound in Sedona, Ariz., said nothing in public. A nine-car motorcade took him to a nearby Starbucks early in the morning, where he ordered a large cappuccino. McCain otherwise avoided reporters.
Via LA Times. But Obama eats arugula so he's elitist. What a joke this election season has become!

Obama lying?

----

There’s one Democrat who would seem to have little or no chance of being picked by Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) to be his running mate – his former opponent, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.).

But it’s not for the reason you think.

Obama has often said, most recently on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on July 27, that Clinton “would be on anybody’s short list.”

But apparently not his.

“She was never vetted,” a Democratic official reported. “She was not asked for a single piece of paper.
She and Senator Obama have never had a single conversation about it. How would he know if she’d take it?”

Hillary Clinton, the completely unknown entity that she and her unfamous husband are, needs to be vetted?
