U.S. changing media policy Iraq

Yesterday, the news on TV said that a new media policy has been ordered by the U.S. administration about Iraq: the media shouldn┤t be allowed to show pictures of wounded U.S. soldiers or of the problems in Iraq or of U.S. soldiers┤funerals in the U.S. (which is particularly amazing because I think that is disrespecting towards the soldiers), but will rather be ordered to show happy pictures of succesful happy U.S. soldiers.

Any thoughts?

There's a new report about killings on my ISP. They may want to keep this stuff off of TV but they can't keep it out of the press unless they want to institute overt censorship. Thank goodness they really can't do this. We are still getting reports about casualties and it's not pretty to read.

I have read and reread the article...They are enforcing rules that have been in existence through three administrations. What is the big deal?
