It's threads like this that FYM is all about. They challenge your thoughts and conceptions about important issues - either strengthening them or opening new doors of reason and perception. Good job, hiphop.

Exactly, it is so ridiculous the HIPCs donīt allow all the economic roads a country could take - but just the ones that benefit world wide free trade. Importsubstitution, which would help so many countries to produce the goods they need for their people with their own workers, is simply forbidden. 100% free international trade in every case actually can hurt economies of countries who canīt protect themselves. But sure enough, the World Bank economists still (!) think they know better because they act strictly according to the Washington Consensus, nothing else allowed. Thats far from economic freedom, though, and in Haiti, just one example of so many, people continue to suffer - but who cares.
