A great Catholic writer said that the only reason for moving from one Christian family to another was to deepen one's relationship with God.

I think this sums it up altogether. It doesn't matter which Church he chooses. Blair obviously wanted to join the one his wife and children were part of. Nothing wrong with that.

Speaking as a former Catholic, it is, of course, nothing short of a disgrace that this lying warmonger was allowed into the Catholic Church.

Which denomination doesn't claim this?

That's why I'll never consider myself a denomination, I'm not catholic, methodist, baptist, etc...
