Unbelievable news. I had a lot of respect of Russert, despite how I feel about most of the rest of the network. A great journalist and great fan of politics. Again, unbelievable. Tough to watch Brokaw deliver the news, clearly on the verge of tears.

Here's Tom Brokaw's announcement. He paid tribute beautifully. I still can't believe this. I loved hearing his political analysis more than any other.
