Ms Harper you're an idiot.

You need to look up the word "proof", and you should do your homework on the history of the 'n' word. Until you do that, do us all a favor and quit writing.

I know-but I don't think it's only the Washington Times that would make that claim. Obama uses the phrase "tea bagger" so the n word is brought up. Interesting.

It would be best for him to avoid that phrase, in the interest of the civility that he talks about. As uncivil as some of the Tea Party people are to him, he should just take the higher road.

True, but what "proof" do we have that he did use it?

It's in the Newsweek guy's book-don't know if he has it on tape

To be fair it could be easy to mean to say tea partier and say tea bagger instead. Since the two have become interchangeable in some circles. Almost like a Freudian slip but not really but could be.

Maybe it was just a slip of the tongue

Yes, Obama and the Dems are similar the Hitler and the Nazis

Indeed. I can't find the words to adequately describe how sad and infuriated crap like that makes me.

Bennett faces toughest fight of political career - CNN.com

Looks like Tea Party will get scalp of 3 tern conservative Senator from Utah.

He voted no on Health Reform, no on Auto Bailout and no on Obama stimulus.

But, he voted with Bush Admin for first bailout in 2008.

Maybe they're really serious about the whole "vote out the incumbents" thing.

^ they have no qualms about it, apparently

Quote:
Sen. Bennett Loses Nomination Bid

SALT LAKE CITY—Republican Senator Robert Bennett of Utah on Saturday became the first incumbent U.S. senator to drop a re-election bid this year after losing a vote for his party's nomination.

The three-term senator, hurt by anti-incumbent sentiment and unpopular moves he made in Washington in the past few years, failed to secure enough support from the 3,500 delegates at the state GOP convention here.

Unlike most states, Utah has an unusual nominating system in which delegates winnow down their party's field of candidates before a primary election. Mr. Bennett was eliminated from the Senate race in the second of three rounds of delegate voting. He finished third in the vote; only the top two vote-getters advanced to the final round.

Speaking to reporters after the vote, a teary-eyed Mr. Bennett offered his congratulations to his two opponents. He defended his controversial moves he made during his past term. "I wouldn't have voted for any of them any differently even if I had known they would cost me my career," he said. The senator, who twice dabbed his nose with a worn piece of tissue during his three-minute statement, did not take questions.

The race for Utah's Republican Senate nomination provides an early, if imperfect, test of the tea-party movement's power.
Tea Party is RISING

they will replace incumbent GOP for more conservative candidates in many safe GOP seats

look for congress, along with the supreme court to shift further to the right

in 9 days the Tea Party will get their guy in TN, too
and he wins in Nov

I got to believe they are picking off some GOP Congressmen in safe seats, too.

Rubio will beat Crist in FL too.
Crist 38% over 33% for Rubio is not solid.
55% of Crist people are Dems, when a few move over to Meek, the Dem, it is all over.

Yeah, I'm not totally convinced.

I have to think some of these more extreme conservatives will have a hard time replacing incumbents.

We'll see...

We have an open race for Gov. in Minnesota. Tim (I got mine/F the rest of you) Pawlenty is not running again.
The GOP endorsed candidate is ahead in an initial, if not terribly thorough, poll. Tom Emmer was endorsed by Palin, who may or may not be the head of the Tea Party.

MinnPost - Emmer leads in first guv poll

This race will be decided by the 3rd party candidate, as it has been in our last 3(?) Governors' races.
