Over the years, I have found the CNN/USA TODAY/GALLUP Poll to be the most accurate. Here are the current figures:



Bush's Approval rating:

47% Approve
49% Disapprove

Who would you vote for in a two way race between Bush and Kerry?

Kerry 49%
Bush 47%

In a Three way race the results were:

Kerry 47%
Bush 46%
Nadar 4%


This was a poll of 1,002 people taken from May 21 to May 23.

Since no poll can be proven to be 100% accurate, here's the CBS News poll, for comparison's sake:

Approval rating:

Approve - 41%
Disapprove - 52%

Bush's handling of the war in Iraq:

Approve - 34%
Disapprove - 61%

Direction of the country:

Right track - 30%
Wrong track - 65%
