Hey, aren't all your politicians always getting into trouble and having to resign because they're always hiring household staff, nannies etc etc who turn out to be "illegal immigrants". Geez, poor folk, they can't afford to pay standard rates....

That's the biggest lie you've been sold.

How much will your produce, construction costs, landscaping, housekeepng etc raise if immigration was suddenly cut off? Talk about Billions...

If someone could should me true facts about these "billions", I may stay and listen.

But isn't illegal immigration a new form of slavery?

Slaves were/are denied the right to education, the right to medical treatment, the right to earn wages for their work, the right to adequate housing. The very things you yourself want to deny to illegal immigrants.

BILLIONS!!

Maybe the prices would go down if we didn't have to feed, cloth, educate or provide any health care for them.

You are missing the point.
Most services would be way more expensive, because then these companies would have to employ union workers that demand much higher wages.

Thousands refuse to learn the main language of the united states which is english (the language most spoken around the world.)

Nope. Not even close.

More than one billion people speak Mandarin. English-speakers account for only 500 million across the world. Spanish (in its various forms) has approximately 400 million subscribers.

I think you should read Orientalism some time... just for fun.

Trillions!

Wow, and now?

You considered yourself socialist if I'm not wrong.

Bazillions!

Kajillions!!!

Wow this is fun...

I totally don't get the illegal immigration:slavery analogy. I suppose some of the illegals here end up doing work that reduces them to virtual slaves (sweatshops etc).

We're not too keen on facts in these threads. :shh:

Well, to be fair... English is spoken in more countries than any other language.

But, prominence is a subjective measure when you're dealing with language.

In keeping with the spirit of the thread, I thought I should present various perspectives on facts.

Why should we when there NOT FUCKING CITIZENS. So you don't mind your tax dollars helping people who are not citizens of this country, yet you mind if we use it for wars or reconstruction costs for other countries.

Surprise, surprise

Justin, once again you are contradicting yourself. You cannot on one hand claim the sympathy angle by arguing it's a form of slavery, and then once given a list of actions that would make it slavery, say you're all for that list.

So am I to understand that you don't mind wages dropping, insurance premiums rising, crime rising, debts inflating because of the sudden influx in population. As long as you get your burrito, chinese food, fish and chips or what ever dirt cheap, land scape looking pretty?

What about our own communities that suffer, Don't you think the African American communities suffer because of this? James will do the job, but jorge can do it for 50 dollars cheaper and we don't have to worry about permits because the shit happens under the table. Do you really want that?

Justin, (Justin, Justin...)

When did I ever say that I'm for those things? When did I ever say that I think everyone should immigrate illegaly? Can't find it? That's right, I never said I'm for those things. I understand that illegal immigration is a problem. What I have a huge problem with, however, is the way you're trying to state your case, with horrible inaccuracies and very suspect "facts."

But more than that, it bothers me that every time we point out these inconsistencies, contradictions and faulty logic, you completely ignore it and fly off with some outlandish accusation that we're all completely pro illegal immigration or whatever the topic may be. It's an extremely poor debate tactic.

If you would at least recognize your inconsistencies and try to iron them out, it might help, but you never do. You just fly off on some emotionally charged but poorly thought out tangent. It gets old.

Please you don't like to acknowledge my facts.

You can't ever back them up, Justin. Opinions on video aren't facts. A bunch of random cut and pastes from a biased website aren't facts.

Give me a Bipartisan site then that you claims has better facts?

Listen to what you are saying.

At least one is saving lives and is constructive the other is killing, and destroying.

Innacuracies, your telling me nothing like what I have said does not happen?

Wow this post just reaks of racism.

You aren't getting it. It's not about a burrito. It's about the economy in general, do you know how much our economy would suffer if all non-citizens were all of a sudden taken out of our job market?
