"The Great Dictator"

I just watched this movie and was totally blown away. It came out in 1940 starring and directed by Charlie Chaplin, lampooning Adolf Hitler. It's a comedy...but knowing what we know now it is brilliant. Especially considering when it came out...before Pearl Harbor. Everyone should go out and rent this if you have not already seen it.

It's hilarious...but so smart at the same time. Charlie Chaplin was a brave man to do that movie.

I saw this for the first time a year or two ago on Turner Classic Movies. Chaplin was way ahead of his time doing something like that! What a great movie.

Charlie Chaplin was both a genius and a very brave man. I'll have to see this movie.

Might I also add that he was 'brilliant" and 'brave'? May I?

No seriously...may I?
