I roll my eyes whenever I read the screaming outrage about aspartame. It is all based on an incredibly poorly run study, which has been discredited many times over. The alleged main issue in aspartame is phenylalanine, which you will get more of in one egg than a can of Diet Coke.

To me, this is on the same level of irrationality as the anti-vaccine freaks. The "science" proving the dangers is about as good in each.

But carry on.

BVS,

I do agree this is a site for conspiracy nuts.
I searched 9/11 and found a page I did not even want to read.http://www.infowars.com/resources.html

But I still think the Diet Coke page was worth posting

Well I'm glad you did a little more reading.

How is this worth reading or posting? Do you think Diet Coke is designed to enslave humanity and reduce its numbers?

I, on the other hand, can't stand regular Coke or Coke Zero, which taste like detergent to me.

On the rare occasions (maybe three times a year) when I do drink soda, it's Blue Sky Cola for me.

Dr. Pepper drinker over here (that's also the only one whose diet version I could tolerate) .

Never heard of Blue Sky Cola. If I ever come across it, I'll give it a taste .

I fully support taking walks, or carpooling, and stuff of that nature. Absolutely, go for it if you can-the benefits are worth it. Just that, unfortunately, in some places, that's easier said than done.

I agree. There are times when you have to drive to the store. Depending on where you live. It can be too far to walk. Plus, I would never walk through an unsafe area.

Hansen's Natural Soda is good, too. Their diet uses Splenda as a sweetner.

But you have to admit Beck and Rumsfeld are pretty odd people.
