This is really good. People these days are so hell-bent on success that they'll cut corners and do dishonest things to get it. It's a little ironic that the big shots are calling for "character" when it's so hard to find. What "values" are we really promoting? Are we deceiving ourselves?
 
Yeah, maybe it is just the absense of ideals and arrogance never helps matters. Throughout history, there have always been people who were into nothing but money and power, and there still are. There have to be people with money and power, and they can be good people, if their desires are tempered with a notion for creating some sort of common good.
