Oh so we're playing the religion can jump the line into government, but government can't jump into religion game?

Yes and the supreme court, who upholds the constitution has agreed over and over that religion has no part in the government.

Does it still inflitrate? Yes, but it doesn't make it constitutional.

In which case?

There are plenty of references to "separation of church and state" (which is not mandated by the Constitution), but there is nothing that say religion (as you are broadly using the term) shall play no part in the government.
