People

Perth is generally an egalitarian and relaxed city which, although it has pockets of extreme wealth and poverty, is almost entirely middle class and suburban. The population is easy-going and friendly, but can be parochial, especially towards the "Eastern States" which are often viewed with deep suspicion.

So watch out Angie, Im suspicious of you :shifty:

The 90 year-old University of Western Australia in particular is renowned for its monumental neo-classical architecture.... Many of the buildings are constructed from limestone, including the enormous Winthrop Hall with its Romanesque architecture.

(My workplace) Its Tuscan actually, and its a fire hazard. And the Union guy slammed his fingernail in the big stupid door and had to release the blood pressure by stabbing himself with a hot paper clip.

Better stop posting, lest people work out Im sitting in my suburban home, eating my middleclass Tic-Toc biscuits. :|

I guess you aren't big on rollmops in Canuck land :D
Eww. Its funny how Australia and The Netherlands are always so close in these kinds of comparisons. We're more conservative in a lot of areas, but Canberra's move toward being the capital of porn, pot and legalised explosives must make some kind of difference lol.

:hmm:
