Socialism is an ideology

You're living with the fruits of its labors even as we speak. Karl Marx was the ideological father of the Federal Reserve, not to mention the end of child labor and other labor protections.

I'd say it works just fine, but, like any ideology, it can be taken to extremes. Everything in moderation, as they say.

Statism isn't always the best thing for workers. What's going on in France is a good example of socialism not working. By the same token, the free health care that people in other countries get is something that does work reasonably well. You have to accept the fact that for every advantage there is a disadvantage. No matter who's right or wrong about Ideology X, that's the truth. Yes, you have to wait longer in some of the countries with socialized medicine for an appointment and that's a disadvantage. The advantage is that everyone gets it regardless of their ability to pay. I personally wish we had this in the U.S. but hell will freeze over before we get it. :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

"I personally wish we had this in the U.S. but hell will freeze over before we get it."

Those healthy care companies need more money.

My mother died a few years ago and the closer she came the death, the higher the cost of her medication. The last we bought was a small bottle of something that cost 250 dollars.

If Hillary gets your vote in 08, I guess the U.S. might get
universal health care.

I will not vote for her or the Rebublican joker, I will vote Libertarian. *again*

I know...so many complications.
