Actually upon reading the entire article the dude from NR actually takes a shot at debt relief for the world's poorest countries - one of Bono's most cherished goals!

So I don't think he was very sympathetic to Bono at all.

Bono talked about people just like this in the Davos forum - those who focus on his celebrity status and not support the issues he's working on.

He wasn't very nice about them.

Speaking of small mentions of Bono in regards to Davos, the other day I was reading the national daily paper here in Mali, which is in French, and the word "Bono, le chanteur de la groupe musicale U2..." Put a little grin on my face. And of course the subject matter is of vital importance to those of us living here in the "developing" world.
