What about Sarajevo being under the siege for 4 years, without electricity, water, food, under constant sniper and heavy artillery fire?

I don't believe it was ever shown they were targetted, but collateral damage existed.

Milosevic started all 4 wars - Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, in that order. He lost all of them, unfortunately 300,000 people lost their lives because of his maniacal genocidal tendencies.

Without him, there would have been no need for NATO bombings, as he was refusing to negotiate any sort of settlement.

Today they are still exhuming corpses in Vukovar and Srebrenica. This is the legacy he left behind. But by all means, let's discuss NATO instead.

Milosevic 'poisoned himself'

Slobodan Milosevic deliberately sabotaged his medical treatment to obtain a ticket to Russia on health grounds, a Dutch expert who treated him days before his death in prison said today.

Professor Donald Uges, a toxicologist, claimed that the 64-year-old former leader, whose trial for war crimes was drawing towards a close after four years, plotted to escape justice and live in exile in Russia with his wife and son.

The plan failed and the former Yugoslavian leader, who masterminded the bloody Balkan wars of the 1990s, instead died of a heart attack in his cell at the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague on Saturday.

The extraordinary claim came as Moscow demanded access to Milosevic's body to perform a second post-mortem. Meanwhile, Boris Tadic, the pro-Western Serbian President, added his voice to complaints that Milosevic had not been given proper healthcare in custody.

Perhaps you should consider there are people posting on this thread who were personally affected in the worst way by this man and move along.

If you ever wanted to share some of your experience (in another thread) I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested. If not, I totally understand.
