Why are children worth insuring, but not everyone? I know Kerry here is playing it safe, as it is a common political ploy to exploit children for political gain. "How can you be anti-children?"

But let's stop beating around the Bush and actually insure *everyone.* A middle-aged adult needs health care just as much as a minor does.

Healthcare for everyone is an easy thing to say.

But what do we mean by "healthcare"?

Does this mean unlimited and instant access to a complete system (including all specialists) that gives us everything except elective cosmetic surgery?

Do we have the right to expect the perfect system, where we sue doctors who don't catch every potential ill?

Does it mean a drug for every ailment?

Our technology and capability have created a complex, expensive system. How much are we willing to pay?
