I don't understand why I should have the expense of over $300 per year when it is a MEDICAL NECESSITY. Sorry, that's absurd. If all other employees can get treatment, then I should too, if I worked there. I lack an enzyme/protein. Why is that my cost to bear when the workplace will say, cover, acyclovir for the treatment of herpes for other employees or will treat high cholesterol for those who never ate right their entire lives? Sorry, wrong.
 
It is not clear from this case whether Catholic Charities policy limited prescriptions for birth control or all drugs that could be used for birth control. Drugs frequently have multiple uses and the insurance coverage for one drug may differ depending on the treatment.
