Vote Palin-Romney 2012 for their rightwing conservatisim. In 2012 we must vote for Governor Sarah Palin to become our President and Governor Mitt Romney to become our Vice President starting on January 20, 2013 , because of Governor Sarah Palin's and Governor Mitt Romney's superior right wing conservative philosophy. Governor Sarah Palin's and Governor Mitt Romney's superior right wing philosophy is shown in that they are pro God and Christianity, pro life, pro marriage; pro guns-second amendment, pro low taxes, pro low government spending; pro small government, pro unintrusive government, pro traditional and Judeo Christian values; pro Bible reading and prayer in our public schools, pro Christians schools and private education , pro private and free enterprise; pro military spending, anti arms agreements with Russia, pro creation; pro nuclear, pro conservative supreme court judges, pro American sovereignty; pro capitalism, anti communist, anti socialist; conservative on immigration, pro individual , and pro constitution

Ironically the attention she so easily commands means she does matter.

That quote about criticism is from Elbert Hubbard, a popular early-20th-century American writer and speaker who died on the Lusitania. How on earth it came to be attributed to Aristotle by some Internet sources, I have no idea --really you can tell at a glance that it's modern in origin.

Only if you're an elitist.

You're missing the point altogether.

You don't need anything but tariffs and excise taxes in order to provide for the functions perscribed in the Constitution. That is how our country stood the test of history prior to the reintroduction of the income tax, which we were promised would eliminate socialist sentiment.

Another option is the "FairTax", which would abolish the 16th Amendment and the IRS altogether and replace it with a national sales tax.

Third option, a flat tax of no greater than 10% across the board, and no write-offs in order to simplify the tax code.

None of these ideas were practical to Herbert Hoover, but raising the income tax from 24% to 63% on the top bracket was. So was signing the Smoot-Hawley Tariff into law after Harding and Coolidge already raised tariffs.

Class warfare should be fought amongst the states.

Maybe so.

If Palin should use Aristotle, I recommend this one:

"Hence tyrants are always fond of bad men, because they love to be flattered, but no man who has the spirit of a freeman in him will lower himself by flattery; good men love others, or at any rate do not flatter them. Moreover, the bad are useful for bad purposes; 'nail knocks out nail,' as the proverb says. It is characteristic of a tyrant to dislike every one who has dignity or independence; he wants to be alone in his glory, but any one who claims a like dignity or asserts his independence encroaches upon his prerogative, and is hated by him as an enemy to his power. Another mark of a tyrant is that he likes foreigners better than citizens, and lives with them and invites them to his table; for the one are enemies, but the Others enter into no rivalry with him."

- Aristotle, Politics

I couldn't care less about the content of Sarah Palin's Twitters. Misattributed quotes just annoy me.

I hear ya on that one.

I don't Twitter, and nothing against those who do, but I can care less for every boring detail in my friends' lives.
