Yesterday Canada lost what is arguably, one of the greatest journalistic minds it has ever had the pleasure of producing, Peter Gzowski. Being a student of his craft and a fellow resident of our beloved nation, I counted him amongst my personal heroes. His is an increasingly passe form of journalism: quality.
He will be sadly missed.

I heard a snatch of the Morningside music on a tribute to him, and though it's been a few years now that music took me right back. He seemed like a neat person. He was only 67. Too bad he was a smoker--I guess his life might have been longer otherwise.
