I swear. I am neither bored enough nor clever enough to make that up. I had forgotten about it until this moment.

Is this the same time you were living over a Buckley too?

No, about a decade before that. I guess I have had some weird karma with Buckleys, though, now that you mention it, lol.

do we really want this to happen?

i mean seriously... those on the left may hate Rove... but do we really want W unleashed to make his own decisions without Karl's approval for the next three year? How many more Miers do we need?

Well then those who voted for Bush should have thought about the fact he's an idiot ahead of time.

maybe if the democrats put out a nominee with a pulse instead of the tool that kerry is, we wouldn't have had to vote for a moron

You had the option of not voting for either one of them if you found them both distasteful.

I realize that in this forum the option not to vote is unpopular, but if you are misinformed or in the event you are informed but the candidates blow chunks, then stay at home instead of contributing your vote to somebody you think is an idiot or a tool.

i do believe you are somewhat serious here

rove was not elected

and he has been calling the shots with cheney

it would be better for W to self-destruct
than pushing an agenda that is destroying everything in its path
and your future

I guarantee you will look back on this
and ask yourself why you were on board with this Administration.

(take it for what it’s worth, put this in an envelope and open it up in a few years, if I ever get back to NYC loser buys the beer)

i know and still know why i was on board with this administration at one point.

i also know why i am no longer on board with them now.

the W administration has been an utter disaster the second time around... and i still wouldn't have voted for kerry.

every third party option out there is baisicly just a hard left spin off.

where does the disenfranchised moderate republican go?

This disenfranchised moderate is going to register as a Republican, to help oust the i fundamentalists from the party in the primaries.

I have always been registered GOP

and vote against bigotry and prejudice that finds a home with some n the Republican Party.

I live in one of the most conservative districts in the country

the only choice we get is what flavor of Republican will represent us.

Headache,

The Dems tried that with Howard Dean. Who had some backbone. But as he was an uncompromising SOB this Bush was concerned. GO back and read aobut how his candidacy unraveled. How fast did they dig up scandals on him? Lightening fast.

As to assuming Bush can function without Karl Rove.....we need look only to the Teus through Friday after Katrina's Monday rampage. ( I will never be able to remember the exact dates but I will ALWAYS have the days of that week frozen in my brain by what horrific new images debuted on each day.) Karl Rove was in the hospital those 4 days. He wasn't even calling the shots from his hospital bed. Bush unraveled like a roll of toilet paper. We saw the puppet without his strings...this was our Great Leader, wihout the script, earpieces, and makeup.

do you really think Kerry would have been worse than Bush has been (i'd argue since 2000, but in this example, we'll just say for 2005)?

honestly.

and how would he have been worse?
